Samuel Pepys and his diary let a legacy to the world and the one reading this. First im going to define this words trustworthness and thankfulness that are the two key woeds for this story. Trustworthness is to be loyal, integral,
since he lived great events in which he showed integrity, honesty and totally loyalty, he was totally faithful to his king or lord, but I also think that trustworthiness and being thankful apply to him because the way he treated his wife and the affairs he had no thinking the harm he caused to her.
At the beginning of the story it seems that the author was totally honored and happy because he was at the coronation of Charles II
At he diary second half when his business wasn't going the way he wanted and not showing any values just a lack of them. They showed trust in each other and depended one on another. One thing is that pepys just stood there and watched the fire happen from his window, he didnt do anything abput it since he believes he has a very high standards, i dont think pepys is not a person you can trust. He actually cheated on her wife, he had lack of love. Besides, his actions were very confusing for not saying another thing (in the fire), he just didnt dis anything, he sttod there next to the kid and didnt help anyone.
So, i think in this story there is a lack of trustworthness and thankful. This is a very confusing story, in some chapters it says things in order to put pepys at a good place. But, despite of this, i wasnt confused, if you know the foundation of the feelings you will be clear about this kind of thinking. Good bye.
