The next essay is going to be about the story Christmas storms and sunshine written by Elizabeth Gasllek.
Thanks story focuses on politics and newspapers that are in charge to display what the political ideals were depending on the political party.
This story as well is developed in the Victorian Era, there is no place and exact time provided for the reader.
It all stars with the bashing these two newspapers have between each other and the two families that are working  on the newspapers to have the same quality of life the politicians have.
They are rivals because the places they work in are very different, so they don't get along because of the disagreement their political ideals although they are good friends in the past accoridt to the backroom story.

The objective of this essay is to determinate if there is or not any relationship with citizenship and commitment in the story and I am going to answer and I personally think at the beggining there is not because they hate eacht other based on the wrong parameters. Also that they judge each other and also envy the other. Because a very important aspect is that this Victorian Era was characterized by people being just so selfish and not fully committed to be the change they claim to want and instead just measure the status of someone based on what they have rather than what it's in their heads what the advocate for.

So by this aspect I think the story is very negative because they do horrible things to each other first the Mary Hodgons has this superior feeling towards Mrs Jenkins because she Mrs Jenkins does not has all the things she does.
Also Jenkins is jelous of Mary for her having a baby and her insty has a cat.
Then this cat added troubles because the cat are the baby's food and Mary almost beat it to death lebajno rbe cat very bad and Mrs Jenkins very upset for what had happened.

Then things change for the better like a rainbow after the storm and this is that the Hodgons baby gets ill with a respiratory attack and rbjs makes Mary very worried ans insane and thirsty for help, happening all of this Mrs Jenkins despite of having all this ttoubt gets to help Mary Roth some boiling water that was what she needed at the moment to save the baby and hands it to Mary so she could take care of the situation. Mary did and then was so grateful about It but she said nothing to Mary.
So moving on when all the situation was eased, Mary the day before Christmas receives a letter and a little gift from her mom where the mom says to her that all her family members miss her and very specially when the holidays arrive.

Due to this Mary recognized what were the important thing and felt yearning because she felt the same way about her family that she misses them so much.
So at the end they both families solve their problems like mature people and all of them share dinner together, Christmas dinner together and this is when the sunshine comes because also the husbands get to talk to each other.

The actual moral of the story is that you have to appreciate people for the hearts they have and not what they have because it is very absurd, the first kind of people are going to be there for you  and help you when you are in bad situation a that is actually all that really matters in life.
